Job summary

Umanist Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise Windows and Linux server lifecycle—from provisioning and configuration to deployment, maintenance, and retirement. The role emphasizes security hardening, patching, compliance, and cross-team coordination.

The candidate will build Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9 environments, configure networking, AD, DNS, and storage, and manage CMDB updates and decommission activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and administering Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7, 8, and 9 servers.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, NTP, storage management, and enterprise server infrastructure.
• Experience with operating system patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with server decommissioning, lifecycle management, and CMDB updates.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite administration and Linux server registration.
• Familiarity with SCCM, SCOM, monitoring platforms, and enterprise backup solutions.
• Experience provisioning and managing virtual machines in VMware ESXi/vCenter environments.
• Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Experience with CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and testing.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks and security compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting infrastructure within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting audit and compliance remediation initiatives.

Summary:
