We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

Job Duties:

1. Assist with design and validation of solutions as per Azure Well Architected Framework
2. Participate in Architecture Review
3. Deployment and configuration of Azure Services
4. Develop Infrastructure as Code
5. Assist in deployment of Azure Foundational Infrastructure such as Landing Zones, Management groups, Azure Monitor and Policies
6. Help plan and implement Backup strategy for Business Continuity and Disaster recovery
7. Help deploy and administer Azure Data Platforms (Synapse / Fabric) with security best practices
8. Troubleshoot to support operational issues
9. Support project and technical communications
10. Work with IT security to ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies
11. Understanding of Azure Security and Entra ID
12. Understanding of Azure Networking including Network security groups, routing and VPN
13. Understanding of Azure Integration Components
14. Implementation experience of Azure storage and Database services

Nice to Have:

1. Power BI administration expertise (Premium, Gateway, Deployment) with certification
2. Azure Virtual Machine deployment and configuration
3. Azure Certification such as Az-104, Az-305
4. Azure Automation Power Platform and DevOps experience
5. Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline configuration experience
6. Experience setting up Azure Virtual Desktop environment
7. Azure Management Group and Landing Zone infrastructure (w/ Canary)

Minimum Skills Required:

Advanced PowerShell + Azure CLI scripting with 3+ years Azure infrastructure management experience
Power BI administration expertise (Premium, Gateway, Deployment) with certification
MicroStrategy architecture knowledge and migration experience
Azure security implementation including Azure AD, SSO, data encryption
Database management proficiency (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse)
Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline configuration experience
Data modeling and DAX fundamentals
Project management and stakeholder communication skills with proven track record
