Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Cost Controller for site-based infrastructure projects in Whitby, Ontario. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and earned value reporting while leading a Cost Controls team and collaborating with project managers and engineers.

You will develop cost control plans, monitor variances, and provide timely alerts on adverse trends to keep projects on schedule and within budget. A degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Controls for large-scale infrastructure projects with a major contractor.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor project budgets, track productivity, and conduct financial updates as required.
• Oversee analysis and reporting of project performance metrics (CPI, SPI, commodity tracking); propose corrective actions.
• Implement & maintain an Earned Value Management plan to measure performance and forecast.
• Lead a team of Cost Controls staff specializing in cost control and change management.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports detailing cost and schedule performance.
