Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking a Project Controls Manager to support a major infrastructure project in Whitby, Ontario. You will lead integrated schedules, cost control, financial reporting, and risk management to ensure successful delivery.

You will collaborate with the Project Director, Commercial Manager, and construction teams to develop and maintain schedules and budgets, perform analyses, and provide strategic insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Project Controls for large-scale infrastructure projects with a major contractor.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven expertise in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and schedule integration for complex, multi-phase projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, risk management, and change control processes.
• Experience with collaborative delivery models such as CMAR, Alliance, or Target Price agreements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Primavera P6, and project management/financial systems (JDE ERP experience preferred).
• Skilled in cost and schedule baselines, performance metrics, and progress reporting frameworks.
• Experience in claims prevention, negotiation, and dispute resolution through proactive analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Effective leadership and mentoring capabilities; building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain integrated project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct cost and schedule analyses; provide strategic insights for decisions.
• Lead regular schedule review meetings with project leadership and teams.
• Maintain project control budget; monitor and report on schedule performance and cost.
• Prepare forecasts, financial reports, and variance analyses; recommend actions.
• Develop and maintain cost management plans and risk management plans.
• Report risk status and mitigation effectiveness to stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and PMs to align objectives and budgets.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports and maintain documentation.
