Job summary

AVASO Technology Solutions Ltd in Montreal, QC is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver hands-on walk-up IT support for Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers and network issues.

The role requires 4+ years in a Help Desk or walk-up IT support, bilingual English and French, solid troubleshooting skills, basic networking, hardware repair, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. You will document incidents in ServiceNow, provision and swap devices, and escalate when needed to higher tiers.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and French (Required).
• 4+ years in a Help Desk, Service Desk, or Walk-Up IT Support role.
• Strong Windows, basic networking, hardware break/fix, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, walk-up support for Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity issues.
• Execute approved quick fixes for password resets, AD access, and standard enterprise applications in line with IT security policies.
• Maintain, provision, and configure ready-to-use replacement laptops and peripherals to minimize end-user downtime.
• Create, update, and route incident tickets in ServiceNow with detailed documentation of interactions and steps taken.
• Diagnose whether issues can be resolved at L2 or require escalation to advanced support.
