Job Opportunity: Java Developer (Database)

Location: Montreal

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Up to $95,000

You will join a team specialized in risk management and operational surveillance technologies. You will contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the resilience of a major organization through advanced analytics and monitoring solutions.

Your mission (should you choose to accept it!):

Design, develop, and enhance Java applications and data processing solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Participate in software analysis, design, and development activities
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and DevOps teams
• Develop and maintain applications within the Java ecosystem
• Design and optimize data processing solutions on Big Data platforms
• Improve CI/CD processes and test automation practices
• Ensure application quality, performance, and stability
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle within Agile teams

Your future team:

You will work within a multidisciplinary team composed of developers, analysts, DevOps specialists, and business stakeholders.

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Proven experience within the Java ecosystem
• Experience with Apache Spark or Big Data platforms
• Strong knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and the full SDLC
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Scala, Angular, or React is considered an asset
