Qual IT Resources in Windsor, ON is seeking an end-user systems support specialist to build shopfloor PCs, deploy machines, and provide day-to-day desktop support. You will participate in planning discussions and enable remote teams through Teams screen sharing.

This role involves updating drivers, assisting with printer and application migrations, and ensuring end-user devices connect to new applications in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Provide day-to-day end-user desktop support and basic installations.
• Assist with application migration by updating PCs to connect to new applications.

Location: Windsor, ON

Summary & Required Qualifications: Primarily PC/end-user focused with some specific deliverables being:

• Build shopfloor PCs using USB image (over 130 across all 3 sites)
• Participate in shopfloor planning discussions
• Deploy shopfloor machines in accordance with agreed plan
• Provide “hand and feet” support for remote teams, to include
• Connecting laptop to network devices for remote configuration
• Connecting laptop to firewall(s) for remote configuration
• Connecting laptop to compute switches for remote configuration
• (No technical skills required for hand and feet support other than ability to start teams meeting and screen share)Assist with printer migration by updating print drivers on PCs and troubleshooting
• Assist with application migration by updating PCs to connect to new applications
• Provide day-to-day end-user desktop support as needed, including troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and performing standard application installations.
• Support technical PC and standard user process activities associated with physical security and other compliance requirements.
