Job description

Atlohsa Family Healing Servicesis seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to fill the role ofInformation Technology Manager. The IT Manager reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for managing the agency’s networks, systems, hardware, software and cloud services to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations across multiple service locations. This role involves maintaining PHIPA-compliant data security protocols, supporting staff with technical needs, coordinating with external vendors, and leading technology initiatives that enhance service delivery and organizational effectiveness.

Role and Responsibility

The IT Manager is responsible for continuously evaluating and assessing the technology requirements of Atlohsa Family Healing Services to develop and implement suitable solutions that enhance agency operations. This includes maintaining and improving IT policies, procedures, and documentation while staying informed and updated on emerging technologies and best practices in nonprofit and healthcare IT. The role involves overseeing the organization's technical architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability across multiple service locations. The IT Manager is also tasked with leading and managing collaborative IT projects with Managed Service Provider, Compudata Systems, and other technology support technicians. Additionally, the manager will work closely with internal department managers on individual projects, coordinate with external vendors for IT services and equipment procurement and oversee cybersecurity and risk management including provide annual cybersecurity awareness training for all staff and board members.

Suitability

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the languages, traditional ways, history, and cultures of the Indigenous populations in the London region.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the nonprofit, healthcare, or mental health services sector.
  • Displayed dedication to continuous learning including training or online courses to stay up to date with rapidly evolving technology. This includes a demonstrated ability to receive internal coaching, supervision, and direction.
  • Strong analysis and understanding of Canadian data privacy laws, including PHIPA.
  • Demonstrated experience with EHR systems and clinical case management software
  • Proficiency in network administration, cloud computing (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure), and cybersecurity best practices
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or ITIL are desirable.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team, including both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and staff training skills, with the ability to easily convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences,both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Adaptability in dynamic environments, with effective time management skills to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Sensitivity and empathy when working in a mental health environment; ability to understand and support user needs with compassion, patience, kindness, and respect.
  • Maintains confidentiality and upholds ethical standards in handling sensitive information and decisions.
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening.

EMPLOYMENT TERM: Permanent; Full-Time


CLOSING DATE: June 4, 2025

REMUNERATION:

· $75,000 to $99,000 per year
