Vision33 is seeking an IT Consultant to join our Managed IT Services team in the Halifax Regional Municipality and Dartmouth Office. The role focuses on delivering day-to-day IT system, network, and infrastructure support for a diverse client base across the Maritimes, with hands-on experience in on-premise and Azure environments.

You will work directly with clients to capture requirements, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions while maintaining strong customer service and collaborating

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in a technical support, infrastructure, or consulting role.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and end-user environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Desktop OS, and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing day-to-day IT system, network, and infrastructure support for a diverse client base throughout the Maritimes.
• Supporting hardware and software infrastructure across both on-premise and Microsoft Azure environments, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Working directly with clients to gather and document requirements related to their internal systems, networks, and applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while providing excellent customer service.

We are seeking candidates that will bring the following skills and experience:

• 1–5 years of experience in a technical support, infrastructure, or consulting role.
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and end-user environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Desktop OS, and Azure environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of SMB IT network infrastructure, domain administration, security requirements, and end-user equipment.
• Experience using remote monitoring and alerting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize, take ownership, and execute solutions in a timely manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and collaborate with internal teams.
