Alpine Aerotech in Kelowna, BC seeks an Information Systems Technician to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure, including virtual environments, servers, network, and Microsoft 365. You’ll provide end-user support, manage ERP and business apps, and help implement security controls.

Qualifications

• - Diploma or degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• - Experience providing technical support in a business environment.
• - Experience with Windows desktop and server environments.
• - Familiarity with virtualization, networking, M365, and ERP apps is a plus.
• - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• - Excellent communication and end-user focus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and monitor virtual server environments and infrastructure.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Assist with server deployment, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and remote-access infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, VLANs, network connectivity, firewall/VPN and security administration.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and support software and business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues.
• Provide timely, professional end-user support and maintain workstation standards.
