The Information Services Assistant (Educational Resources & User Services) is responsible for the management of the Reserves and Open Educational Resources programs, as well as the provision of accessible and patron centric user services. The incumbent is the direct supervisor of the Student Library Assistant team, providing training and ongoing support in all aspect of user services, as well as daily management of this large and diverse team, including providing evening and weekend assistance. Utilizing expert knowledge of circulation functions, the incumbent delivers user‑centered service to the students, faculty and staff of King's University College, Western and affiliate users, and users from our Collaborative Futures consortia located across Ontario. The Information Services Assistant (Educational Resources & User Services) develops and maintains strong relationships with partners across campus, including faculty members, departmental administrative assistants, Research Office colleagues, and our partners at Western
Libraries and the Affiliates, to ensure the optimal functioning of vital library programs.
Full-Time Contract – 35 hours per week until May 12, 2028.
