Insight Global is looking to hire an IAM Engineer for a leading bank in downtown Toronto:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- This candidate will work in the Identity & Access Management (IAM) space and must have experience with 3rd party IAM solutions.
- Responsible for executing IAM Services' projects and solutions in collaboration with operations, information security, architecture, and project managers.
- Design and implement solutions and processes for authentication, authorization, and access enforcement.
- Provide technical solutions and assist application teams in using IAM services.
- Serve as third-level support for IAM services and utilities when tier one and two support cannot resolve issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation for IAM Services and related technologies, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting steps.
- Must have strong coordination and interpersonal skills due to significant interaction with various teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in understandable business language.
- Experience with scripting to automate tasks, configuration changes, data collection, and user provisioning.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with multiple 3rd party IAM solutions in a fast-paced, complex global environment, including engineering, development, deployment, and maintenance of critical systems.
Technologies:
- SSO, MFA, and adaptive risk-based authentication
- Identity Federation
- Authentication and Authorization for REST, Microservices, & SOAP
- IAM integration with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Directory integration including Active Directory, LDAP, Virtual Directories
- Integration with provisioning and attestation systems
- Experience with X.509 certificates, trust stores, TLS troubleshooting and tracing
- Knowledge of standards and protocols: SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, LDAP, Kerberos, WS-Fed, etc.
- Configuring and troubleshooting Authentication and Authorization configurations
- Understanding of LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN technologies, monitoring, and support best practices
- Awareness of regulatory environment and implications for identity management, security, and compliance
- Strong academic background in computer science or engineering
