Join to apply for the Information Security Analyst 3 role at Canada Life.

This is a permanent full-time position as part of the cyber defense team, working with IT and business partners to manage information security risks and ensure compliance with security policies. The role involves delivering cyber security services such as security assessments, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and evaluating security controls.

What You Will Do

• Provide information security consultation to business and IT stakeholders.
• Offer security guidance for projects, ensuring the protection of confidential information and enhancing security posture.
• Conduct risk assessments and research evolving threats.
• Develop and perform vulnerability assessments, documenting findings.
• Review security reports (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Testing) to identify weaknesses and prioritize remediation.

What You Will Bring

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Security/IT, focusing on Risk Management.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security assessments, attack vectors, and security controls.
• Technical expertise in networks, servers, applications, cloud technologies, and security tools (encryption, firewalls, IDS/IPS, malware protection, DDoS, DLP, SIEM).
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and control frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC).
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with negotiation skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliability Status security clearance is required.

The salary ranges from $63,500 to $117,400 annually, excluding variable components. The application process is open for at least 5 business days, with rolling reviews.
