Responsibilities

• Develop and implement child-care programs to promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.
• Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and local outings with children.
• Guide and assist children in eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• Observe children for signs of learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
• Assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers working with children.
• Plan and maintain a safe, healthy, and well-being oriented environment for children.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.

• The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
