ZenaTech Inc. seeks an Industry Marketing Specialist to develop go-to-market strategies for Mining, Construction, Infrastructure, Utilities, and other verticals. You will conduct market research, craft positioning, plan campaigns, and enable sales with industry insights to grow pipeline and revenue.

You will work closely with regional marketers, demand generation, content teams, and leadership to translate drone and geospatial capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience marketing to technical or industrial audiences.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing and lead generation.

Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), enterprise SaaS, and quantum computing solutions for mission

critical business applications. Since 2017, the company has leveraged its software

development expertise and expanded its drone design and manufacturing capabilities

through ZenaDrone to innovate and enhance customer inspection, monitoring, safety,

security, compliance, and surveying processes.

Position Summary

The Industry Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for assigned industry verticals, including Mining, Construction, Infrastructure, Utilities, Energy, Environmental Services, or Government and other penetrating industry verticals.

This role combines market research, positioning, campaign planning, content strategy, sales enablement, and customer insights to drive pipeline growth and market penetration within targeted industries. The Industry Marketing Specialist serves as the internal subject matter expert on market trends, customer challenges, competitive dynamics, and industry-specific opportunities.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, regional marketing managers, demand generation, content teams, and operational leaders to create compelling industry-focused marketing programs that generate awareness, leads, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Develop deep knowledge of industry trends, regulations, economic drivers, and emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct market/customer research and competitive analysis.
  • Monitor competitor positioning, messaging, campaigns, and market activity.
  • Identify customer pain points and emerging industry challenges.
  • Maintain industry-specific buyer personas.
  • Track market shifts and provide recommendations to leadership.
Industry Positioning & Messaging

Create compelling messaging that resonates with decision makers within target industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop vertical-specific value propositions.
  • Translate drone, survey, geospatial, and inspection capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Create messaging frameworks for key audiences.
  • Ensure industry terminology and language are reflected in marketing materials.
  • Align messaging across website, campaigns, collateral, and sales tools.
Campaign Development

Develop industry-focused campaigns that support pipeline growth.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute marketing programs tailored to target industries.
  • Collaborate with the demand generation team on integrated campaigns.
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives.
