We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for our industrial products, targeting the USA market. Based in Montreal, the role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the food processing industry. The Industrial Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding our presence and driving revenue growth in the American industrial market.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for our industrial products, targeting the USA market. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the food processing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development and Execution :

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive growth in the USA industrial market.
  • Identify and acquire new B2B customers, including food manufacturers and processors.
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring revenue and profit margin targets are met.

Customer Relationship Management :

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with industrial clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and offer tailored solutions from Great Foods' product portfolio.

Market and Competitor Analysis :

  • Conduct in-depth research on the USA industrial food market to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Provide insights to the management team on customer feedback and market dynamics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with production, quality control, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with marketing to create campaigns and materials that support sales initiatives in the USA market.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting :

  • Track and report on sales performance, including revenue, market share, and profitability metrics.
  • Develop detailed sales forecasts and provide regular updates to the Head of Global Sales.
  • Implement corrective actions for any underperforming areas.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Experience : At least 5-7 years of B2B sales experience in the food processing or industrial food sector, with a focus on the USA market.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow large accounts while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills :
  • Strong knowledge of the food processing industry, particularly in the USA.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language : Fluency in English is required; French proficiency is an asset.
  • Customer-focused with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and business practices in the USA market.
