GardaWorld is hiring an Industrial Security Guard in Estevan, Saskatchewan. This on-site role focuses on protecting people and property, with duties including visitor management, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.

The position offers stable hours, uniform provision, and GardaWorld Academy training for career growth. Ideal candidates have Saskatchewan Security Guard licensing, First Aid CPR/AED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset).
• Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Reliable vehicle to get to site.
• First Aid Level C CPR and AED.
• Drug and Alcohol Testing.
• Saskatchewan Security Guard License Training Certificate (we can help you get this).
• Clean criminal background check from the last 30 days.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment if incidents occur.
• Ability to pass and maintain client-required drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Protect the information, people, and property.
• Issue visitor card(s).
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Monitor CCTV cameras.
• Manage incidents.
• Conduct on-foot patrols of the exterior and interior of the site.
• Must be able to stand and sit for long periods.
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Must be able to contact the Police Service and the operations center and report incident-criminal activities.
