A workplace safety organization in Canada is seeking an Industrial Risk Specialist to lead risk-based projects. The role involves assessing contributory risk factors and implementing risk management frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a master's or bachelor's degree in a related field, along with relevant experience in industrial risk assessment. This position offers a competitive salary and a hybrid work model that combines remote and in-office work, focusing on worker safety and mental health.
Do you have experience in identifying, assessing, and developing controls for risks in industrial environments? Have you developed and applied frameworks supporting the management of multiple risks? If this sounds like you, consider joining our growing team in Prevention Risk Management Services.
As an Industrial Risk Specialist, you will lead and support risk‑based projects, influence stakeholders throughout the province, and advise on risk‑based strategies.

Categories of risks include catastrophic risks, emerging risks, slow‑acting harms, and risks that are undetected, underreported, or misdiagnosed – including psychosocial hazards, mental health challenges, and associated systemic gaps in risk identification.
You'll help ensure B.C. workers go home safely at the end of their workday.
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely and in our offices, based on the operational needs of the position. For further information on the hybrid work arrangements, please refer to WSN - Hybrid Work.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
