Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration in Sherwood Park, AB, seeks an apprentice gas fitter or first-year apprentice to join our field service team. You will work on commercial refrigeration systems, travel to customer sites, and perform preventive maintenance.

This role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Industry experience with ammonia/CO2 is an asset; licensing and controls knowledge are welcome. On-call rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing apprenticeship or 1st year apprentice
• Gas Fitter license is an asset
• Controls experience is an asset
• Experience with ammonia/CO2 refrigerant is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Be able to work on a team or independently from a mobile location.
• Carry out preventative maintenance within our customer base.
• Identify and communicate potential upgrades and required maintenance to customers and account managers.
• Be available to fit into our on call rotation throughout the year.
• Participate and follow all health and safety programs.
