Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration is seeking a Registered Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (313A) Apprentice in the Greater Toronto Area. You will work as a mobile technician providing service across the GTA, troubleshooting and repairing industrial refrigeration equipment.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, identify required repairs or upgrades, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid driver’s license and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must currently be a UA Local 787 member.
• Registered Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (313A) Apprentice, 1st through 5th year.
• Experience troubleshooting and service on refrigeration or HVAC/R equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a technical team.
• Commitment to safety and providing strong customer service.

• Pay or shift range: $25.91 CAD to $55.25 CAD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (313A) Apprentice, 1st through 5th year.
• Must currently be a member of UA Local 787.
• Previous hands‑on troubleshooting and service experience with refrigeration or HVAC/R equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an experienced technical team.
• Commitment to safety and providing strong customer service.

Additional Assets

• Experience servicing industrial refrigeration systems.
• Experience with ammonia and/or CO₂ refrigeration systems.
• Gas Fitter license.
