Our Ideal Candidate

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the execution of a high-value industrial project. The project is currently in the design/fabrication phase and is expected to continue through delivery, with installation and commissioning support extending till the end of the year.

This is a contract role requiring approximately 30 hours per week, with flexibility depending on project activity. The successful candidate will be embedded within the project delivery team, working closely with internal stakeholders and external engineering and construction partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in contract management and change management, especially in environments with process-heavy EPCMs.

A Day in the Life

  • Manage project execution across all phases—design, fabrication, and delivery—ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support contract management, including tracking changes, managing documentation, and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including internal team members, external contractors, and client-side representatives.
  • Monitor deliverables and key project milestones across eight separate dust control systems.
  • Oversee risk management activities and proactively address delays or changes in project scope.
  • Contribute to quality, scheduling, and project coordination alongside the client team.
  • Provide clear, timely updates to the client and collaborate with project controls, quality, and engineering resources.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical diploma with equivalent project experience.
  • 5+ years of civil, mechanical, or industrial project management experience, ideally in a consulting or EPCM environment.
  • Strong contract management and change management expertise.
  • Previous experience working on industrial equipment supply projects or with major is an asset.
  • Ability to thrive in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience is an asset.
