Base pay range: CA$94,084.00/yr - CA$117,605.00/yr

About PavCo

BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) is hiring talented individuals for its venues, BC Place Stadium and the Vancouver Convention Centre. We are preparing for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 at BC Place Stadium and seek a Contracts Manager for an 18-month contract. The role involves leading contract management activities in collaboration with the Construction Manager, including reviewing, responding to, and approving project correspondence for the Construction Manager contract and Prime Design contract.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review project information, submissions, and correspondence to monitor issues and concerns.
  2. Prioritize and facilitate responses to correspondence by relevant disciplines.
  3. Develop and maintain a tracking system for correspondence and issue resolution.
  4. Monitor schedules and deadlines to ensure contractual compliance.
  5. Draft and finalize correspondence and reports.
  6. Support project documentation, including notifications, briefing notes, and summaries.
  7. Participate in meetings to track and report project activities.
  8. Coordinate contract change management and draft initial change documents.
  9. Review and evaluate change-related documents and contractor claims.
  10. Coordinate monthly reporting and data collection on KPIs.
  11. Oversee electronic filing of contract correspondence.
  12. Mentor team members on contract management approaches.
  13. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  1. PMP, CPCM certification, or Chartered Quantity Surveyor preferred.
  2. Post-secondary education and experience in contract administration or management, especially with CCDC contracts, or equivalent.
  3. 5-7 years of project management experience, with at least 7 years in contract roles on infrastructure projects.
  4. Experience in commercial construction or development preferred.
  5. Knowledge of large-scale construction contract terms, processes, and documentation.
  6. Understanding of contract law, change management, and claims evaluation.
  7. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  8. Resilience and motivation in challenging situations.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Details

The salary range is CA$94,084 – CA$117,605, offered in line with PavCo’s pay equity and candidate qualifications. Compensation details will be discussed during initial interviews.
