Job summary

GM Canada is hiring Industrial Millwright Mechanics for the Oshawa Assembly plant on a full-time, onsite basis. Starting wage is $55.97/hr with COLA and additional shift premiums; overtime is available under the collective agreement.

You will repair, install and maintain diverse equipment, including robotic welding cells and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma with a Millwright license and have completed the Canadian Millwright Apprenticeship Program; basic

Qualifications

• High School diploma with a valid Millwright license.
• Successful completion of Canadian Millwright Apprenticeship Program.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely repair, overhaul, install, replace and/or perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints or from scratch.
• Troubleshoot robotic welding cells, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves and conveyors.
