General Motors Oshawa Assembly is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician for full-time onsite work in Oshawa, Ontario.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting stamping and production equipment, VFDs, servomotors, PLCs, and HMIs, plus preventative maintenance and repairs on complex control systems.

Qualifications

  • High School education with valid Electrician License (309A or 442A).
  • Successful completion of Canadian Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • 2-3 Years’ experience in a Manufacturing/Automotive environment.
  • Robotics, PLC and HMI Experience preferred.
  • Dual ticket a definite asset.
  • Must be available to work any Shift.
  • Ability to work scheduled overtime as required.

  • Troubleshoot VFD, Servomotors and Network Communication devices.
  • Maintain and routinely monitor all mechanical and electrical equipment (preventative and predictive maintenance).
