Bilingual Recruitment Specialist @ Acara Solutions

Hours: 12-hour continental shift - rotating days and nights

Pay rate: $39 - $46 per hour

Location: Aurora

Primary Purpose and Function: Licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic.

Must have Industrial Millwright License (433A)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain production and building equipment. Fabrication of machine parts to improve safety and/or machine efficiencies.
• Contribute to after-hours help and work shift work to maintain the plant.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Competent in pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, power transmission, and reading mechanical, electrical, and fluid power schematics.
• Operate shop machinery and hand tools safely, including lathes, grinders, welders, tow motors, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Perform disassembly, reassembly, and alignment of mechanical components.
• Service centrifugal pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Communication Skills:

Good communication skills are essential for teamwork and troubleshooting to ensure quick and safe machine repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document accordingly.
• Work in a 24/7 operation, rotating shifts and being on call as needed.
• Ensure safe and smooth building operations.

Initiative and Creativity:

• Encourage proactive safety and efficiency ideas, utilizing skills and knowledge to implement improvements.

Reporting Relationships:

• Report to the maintenance manager for daily tasks and projects.
• Assist plant managers and supervisors to facilitate maintenance tasks.

Physical Effort Requirements:

• Light to heavy lifting (5-75 lbs), working at heights, in tight spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Mental Effort Requirements:

• Maintain safety focus, stay alert, and ensure a safe working environment.
