JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for dynamic, strategic, and results-driven professionals to join our team as Fall 2025 Skilled Trade Students, starting in September 2025.

We are looking for students enrolled in the following programs :
  • Industrial Electrician Technician
  • Construction Technician
  • Maintenance Technician
  • Industrial Millwright
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Contribute to projects aligned with your field and career interests, applying classroom knowledge to practical assignments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the industry.
  • Take ownership of tasks, support daily operations, and seek mentorship for professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in Electrical, Construction, Maintenance, Mechanical Technician / Technology, or Industrial Millwright Technician
  • Completed at least one year of college by the start of the work term
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 70%
  • Returning to full-time studies in the same program after the work term, or require the work / co-op term to graduate

  • Relocation to Durham Region at 1908 Colonel Sam Drive, starting Summer 2025. You will report to your listed work location until relocation. Further instructions will be provided closer to the date.
