Job summary
ARAUCO is seeking an Industrial Mechanic for its St. Stephen, NB mill. The role focuses on daily maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe operations within the plant.
Ideal candidates hold a valid Industrial Mechanic license with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing and familiarity with SAP CMMS and MS Office. The position requires shift work and on-call coverage, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- Licensed Industrial Mechanic with at least 2 years of related maintenance experience.
- Experience servicing equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with SAP CMMS and MS Office.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment and processes.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot components and systems used to control industrial processes.
- Inspect machinery to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
- Adjust machinery and replace defective parts.
- Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Install new equipment and manage project work.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment-related problems.
- Work shifts and provide on-call coverage; operate within CMMS (SAP).
- Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
