Job summary

ARAUCO - North America in St. Stephen, NB is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to maintain and optimize mill equipment. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and install components to ensure safe, efficient operations, with a focus on problem solving and reliability.

The role requires a licensed Industrial Mechanic and at least two years of relevant experience, plus familiarity with SAP CMMS and MS Office. Join a team committed to sustainability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Industrial Mechanic or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience servicing equipment.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP CMMS preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot components and systems used to control industrial processes.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Install new equipment; project work.
• Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques for equipment-related problems.
• Work shifts and provide on-call coverage.
• Work with our CMMS (SAP).
• Work at heights and in confined spaces.

Position Summary

The Industrial Mechanic performs daily maintenance activities within the mill in a safe manner. This includes troubleshooting, problem solving, preventive maintenance and other routine maintenance work.

What We Are Looking For

• Licensed Industrial Mechanic or equivalent
• 2 or more years relative work experience servicing equipment
• 2 or more years in a manufacturing environment
• Computerized Maintenance Management System - SAP preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of equipment and processes
