Job summary

Fleetwood Metal Industries in Tillsonburg, ON is seeking an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to support production at our cold stamping facility. The role requires prior stamping experience and a self-motivated attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Starting wage is $45.69 per hour with a $2,500 signing bonus, comprehensive benefits from Day 1, 5% RRSP employer contribution, and 3 weeks vacation plus 4 paid personal days.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery.
• Stamping equipment experience is an asset.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (days/afternoons).

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring machines and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures routine and non-routine.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical).
• Abide by company policies including Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, HR policies.

Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright in our Tillsonburg, Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The Millwright/Mechanic is responsible for supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic,pneumatic,and mechanical repairs
• Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook

Minimum Qualifications:

• Stamping equipment i.e.feed line systems experience is an asset
• 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
