Randstad Canada is seeking an Industrial Mechanic for straight days in Brampton, ON. Pay is $33.00–$35.00 per hour, with a 40-hour work week and a permanent direct-hire arrangement. The role offers full benefits after 3 months, vacation, and a clean, well-equipped shop floor.

The position involves mechanical rebuilds, hydraulics/pneumatics troubleshooting, line maintenance, basic fabrication, and preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Proficient troubleshooting of hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes and drives.
• Basic electrical diagnostic awareness (sensors, switches, 24V field wiring).
• Able to work with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.

Responsibilities

• Tear down gearboxes, replace drive shafts, press bearings, and align couplings in the toolroom.
• Troubleshoot valves, cylinders, pumps, and fluid lines across production lines.
• Line maintenance for metal forming equipment, uncoilers, and presses.
• Basic fabrication with MIG or Stick welding for brackets and guards as needed.
• Complete daily PM routines and log work orders on a tablet.

Pay: $33.00 – $35.00/hr (Direct Hire, Permanent)

Shift: Straight Days Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No rotating shifts, no compulsory weekends)
