Job summary

Kibbi in Mississauga is seeking a mechanically skilled assembler to join our on-site shop team. You will read blueprints, assemble equipment, install machinery and perform routine maintenance.

With 2–3 years of hands-on experience and a high school graduation, you will troubleshoot irregularities, calibrate and test equipment, and follow safety procedures as part of a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in assembly or related field.
• On-site work is mandatory; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
• Install machinery and equipment
• Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate and test equipment
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
