Job Summary:
Summit Air is hiring for a full-time permanent Ground Service Equipment (GSE) / Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to join the team. In this position, you will report to the Maintenance Production Supervisor. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial aircraft ground service equipment and within the facility/hangar.
This position interprets work orders and technical manuals; keeps equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained; diagnoses faults or malfunctions and makes necessary repairs in a timely manner.
The GSE Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for supervising the work of the Industrial Mechanic Apprentice.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments to create effective maintenance plans while adhering to regulatory compliance and operational requirements.
