Job summary

Sealed Air Canada, located in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to backfill for an upcoming retirement. This full-time role offers rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights) with a starting wage of CAD 39.50–CAD 42.00 per hour, based on experience.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, read drawings and schematics, and support safety programs in a strong team environment at our Brampton plant.

Qualifications

• Industrial mechanic millwright certification or 309A
• Minimum three years of industrial maintenance experience in production
• Proficient in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps
• Ability to read electrical diagrams/drawings and use blueprints
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and related equipment
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork mindset
• Safety-focused with PPE/LOTO knowledge

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment to keep lines operational
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and replace worn components
• Read manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform maintenance
• Disassemble/assemble machines and install parts per specs and tools
• Calibrate and adjust devices and production control systems
• Understand facilities and mechanical/electrical systems and diagnose issues
• Support other maintenance and production team members to meet plant goals
• Determine tools and equipment needed for work
