Job summary

Can Art Aluminum Extrusion in Brampton is seeking a Millwright (433A certified) to maintain and repair equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and support production with timely mechanical work.

The role requires minimum 3 years of millwright experience, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and ability to read blueprints. Welding and PLC exposure are assets.

Qualifications

• 433A Industrial Millwright license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of millwright experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic circuits/diagnostics and basic electrical knowledge.
• Read and interpret component drawings/blueprints.
• Welding experience is an asset; PLC exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, adjust, and repair equipment following safety rules.
• Maintain equipment to required standards and respond to production needs.
• Perform daily inspections and document inspection results.
• Assist electricians with machine repairs and routine maintenance.
• Rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders; fabricate fixtures as needed.
• Use mills, lathes, and perform general welding repairs.
• Follow Can Art safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
