Aerotek is recruiting a Maintenance Mechanic for a large industrial glass manufacturing operation in Calgary, AB. The role emphasizes reactive and preventive maintenance of production machinery, including CNC equipment, compressors, and ovens, with a focus on safety and reliability.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proven ability to perform preventive and reactive maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to operate with Millwright apprenticeship level or journeyperson status.
• Experience with CNC equipment, waterjet machines, compressors and ovens.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot plant instrumentation and equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform repairs on production equipment during active production to minimize downtime.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Weld minor fabrications using MIG and SMAW processes.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Work safely from ladders and lifts during installation and maintenance.
• Support maintenance on CNC equipment and waterjet machines.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for repairs and installations.
• Conduct PLC troubleshooting on Siemens and Fanuc systems.
