Qualifications

• Industrial carpentry experience on large civil projects.
• Journeyperson certification or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred.
• Safety certifications such as CSTS 09/2020 and Fall Protection required or asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial carpentry on the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project near Fort Saskatchewan.
• Work overtime and night shifts as required.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.

PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. is seeking Journeyperson Carpenters for the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This role involves industrial carpentry work on a major civil project, with opportunities for overtime and night shifts. Ideal candidates will have industrial experience, relevant safety certifications, and a strong work ethic. Alberta residents are preferred, and union affiliation is required.

Perks & Benefits

• Wage: Up to $51.91/hr (as per Collective Agreement PLA Division 8)
• Living Out Allowance (LOA): $150 per day worked for those 120km+ from site
• Paid Travel: Starting at $200 for those 120km+ from site
• Benefits package included
• Optional overtime on Saturdays

What You’ll Need

• Trade Certificate or apprenticeship card (asset; hours of experience will be evaluated)
• CSTS 09 or 2020 Fundamental’s certification
• ESC Fall Protection certification
• Industrial experience required
• Willingness to affiliate with Carpenters’ Regional Council, Local Union 1325
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• Completion of Client & PCL Online Orientations
• Drug and alcohol test required if applying for LOA
