Job summary

PCL Industrial is seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Structural Ironworkers for a Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta. The roles involve erecting structural steel on an industrial/modular project, with emphasis on safety and proper lifting procedures.

Qualified candidates will hold Ironworker credentials, CSTS 09/2020, and Fall Protection/EWP certifications, and be able to work on-site in varied weather. Union affiliation with Local 720 is preferred.

PCL Industrial is seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Structural Ironworkers with industrial experience for the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project located near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Requirements:

• Registered Ironworker Apprentice or Journeyperson Ironworker (Structural)
• CSTS 09 or 2020 Fundamental
• ESC Fall Protection
• ESC Elevated Work Platform
• Experience with structural steel erection in industrial, and modular construction
• Strong understanding of lifting, rigging, and hoisting procedures
• Must be willing to be affiliated with the Ironworkers Local 720

Work Conditions & Remuneration:

• Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
• Candidates MUST be qualified for and physically able to meet the call-out. You are required to climb and work at elevations, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• On Site - Mod Yard
• Day Shift
• 4-10 & 8hrs on Friday, with optional overtime Saturday
• Client & PCL Online Orientations
• No pre-access alcohol and drug test required
• Candidates must be eligible for hire/rehire with the PCL Family of Companies

Compensation:As per the Collective Agreement and the PLA Division 8 Agreement

• 3rd year:$48.42/hr + benefits
• 2nd year:$40.35/hr + benefits
