Job summary

SPX is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator in Smiths Falls, Ontario to support, implement, and maintain occupational health and safety programs within a manufacturing environment. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation, and lead incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, CRSP preferred, and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization while

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication, assembly, or mechanical manufacturing is an asset.
• Proven experience in incident investigation and safety program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory updates and implement required changes.
• Support internal and external safety audits and inspections.
• Prepare and maintain required safety documentation and records.
• Lead and support workplace incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations.
