Job summary

itec group in Cambridge, Ontario is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment in a stable manufacturing setting.

You will read schematics, work on AC/DC motors, VFDs, and electrical panels, and collaborate with a seasoned maintenance team. A strong hands-on background in manufacturing electrical systems is essential.

Qualifications

Must hold 442A Industrial Electrician licence or 309A licence with manufacturing experience.
Experience reading electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems.
Strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical equipment, including motors, drives, control systems, and production machinery.
Perform electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other industrial control systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and technical manuals.
