Qualifications

Valid Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician License.
3+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong automation and controls troubleshooting experience.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and motor controls.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 600V.
Strong understanding of industrial safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production and packaging equipment.
Diagnose electrical issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and control systems.
Perform electrical modifications, upgrades, and equipment installations.
Support automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Assist with PLC troubleshooting and programming adjustments.
Complete preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Work collaboratively with maintenance, production, and engineering teams.
Maintain a strong focus on safety and electrical standards.
