Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) Milling in Lethbridge, AB is seeking a Certified Electrician to maintain and repair plant electrical and mechanical systems. The role ensures safe operation and production efficiency across the milling complex.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of industrial electrical experience, strong PLC/VFD knowledge, and proficiency with Excel/Word. The position may require after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Licensed journeyman electrician or currently registered apprentice.
Minimum 1 year electrical experience in industrial manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Willing to participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and standards.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical and mechanical equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, test, and calibrate equipment to maintain efficiency.
Complete scheduled maintenance, inspections, and building maintenance as required.
Maintain records using maintenance management software.
Monitor spare parts inventory and support procurement planning.
Maintain high standards of quality, sanitation, GMP, and food safety compliance.
Document and record activities per quality and safety standards.
