Job summary

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is seeking Electrician Journeypersons for project work at the Jansen site in Saskatchewan. You will provide field electrical support, read blueprints, and ensure safe execution of electrical installations.

Join a team focused on safety, quality, and collaboration. Camp lodging is provided, with travel allowances based on residency, and a rate of $50.00 per hour with overtime per the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Valid RED SEAL Journeyperson Ticket.
• CSTS-20 Certificate.
• Fall Protection – In Class.
• Mobile Elevated Work Platform – In Class.
• Experience as an Electrician in an industrial construction environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Install cable tray, conduit, terminate cable and install equipment and panels.
• Fabricate control panels and perform wiring check-out.
• Layout circuits, set up breaker panels and junction boxes, install lighting fixtures and electrical equipment.
• Ensure all electrical installations follow applicable regulations and trade practices.
• Install, alter, repair and maintain electrical equipment for safe operation.
• Read drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Mentor apprentices and oversee safety.
