Job summary

Ledcor Group seeks a Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician to join our industrial project team for the Potash Mine project on our client’s site. You will read drawings, install cable tray, wire fixtures and panels, test circuits, troubleshoot issues, and mentor apprentices.

Expect 14/7 rotation with 11-hour days, day/night shifts, camp accommodations, and CLAC benefits. Travel/flight allowance for non-local residents applies.

Qualifications

• Must have industrial construction experience on a project site.
• Journeyperson ticket or be registered in an apprenticeship with a recognized authority.
• Pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
• Fall Protection and MEWP are assets.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
• Pull cables and install cable tray.
• Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, and control panels.
• Install electrical systems and related equipment.
• Test circuits for integrity and safety.
• Troubleshoot defective circuits and mentor apprentices.
