Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for an upcoming assignment in Southwest Ontario. You will work 10-12 hour shifts, 4 days per week when assigned to a project.

Compensation includes CAD 75 per hour before overtime, a CAD 30 per day non-taxed meal allowance when lodging is required, paid travel up to 4 hours, and hotel and flight provided when required. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid 442A certificate.
• Min 1 year industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• PLC programming experience preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting for expeditious repair of plant equipment and facilities.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs including fans, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams; follow manufacturer instructions and specs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and controls components.
• Run power lines to production or service equipment per safety codes.
