AFIMAC Canada is actively seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for an upcoming assignment in Southwest Ontario. You will work 10-12 hour shifts, 4 days per week, with compensation including $75 per hour before overtime and a daily non-taxed meal allowance when lodging is required.

Additional benefits include paid travel (up to 4 hours), hotel accommodations and flight as needed. Candidates should have the 442A certificate, industrial experience, and PLC/ SAP knowledge.

Formación

• Must possess a valid 442A certificate.
• Min 1 year industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills are required.
• PLC programming experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Provide troubleshooting for expedient repair of all plant equipment and facilities.
• Maintenance and repairs of building systems including fans, pumps, and aux. systems.
• Interpret local and national electrical codes and schematics; follow instructions and specs.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams and controls components.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and engineering specifications.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming abilities.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Run power lines to production or service equipment following safety codes.

You will earn:

• $75 per hour before overtime
• $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
• Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
• Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
• Flight Provided (when required)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide troubleshooting skills for the expedient repair of all plant equipment and facilities.
• Building maintenance and repairs including fans, pumps, aux. systems
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment as required.
• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relay logic, ladder diagrams & controls components.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics as well as follow diagrams, sketches, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications.
• Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting/programming
• Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
• Ability to run power lines to production or service equipment according to tables and safety codes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid 442A certificate
