Qualifications

• 442A or 309A license.
• 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Able to operate aerial lift.
• Willingness to learn robot programming and PLCs.
• Detail-oriented with manual dexterity.

• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to all areas, ensuring machines and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Improve electrical processes to minimize downtime in production.
• Safely install and maintain electrical machinery and equipment.
• Repair machinery and plant support systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, drives).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through documentation updates.
• Comply with mechanical and electrical prints.

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an Industrial Electrician in our Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Industrial Electrician is responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior electrical experience in an automotive setting, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support to all areas ensuring that both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
• Improveelectrical processes to minimize disruption/downtime of production
• Safely install and maintain electrical machinery and equipment
• Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems: hydraulic, pneumatic,electrical,and mechanical, drives,bearings,and gears
• Read, interpret, and alter electrical schematics to ease in troubleshootingelectrical and electronic systems to ensure proper operation
• Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement through thorough documentationupdates
• Comply with and demonstrate an understanding ofmechanical and electrical prints

Minimum Qualifications:

• 442A or 309A License
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability/certified to operate Aerial Lift
• Abilityto learn and retain knowledge regardingRobot programming and PLCs
• Detail-orientedand good manual dexterity inuse ofmechanicalmachines and instruments
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution

The pay range for this role is $35.00/hour to $48.00/hour.
