Labatt Breweries of Canada is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician for our Creston, BC facility. The role includes installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, with focus on PLC troubleshooting and machine safety.

You will read codes, plan layouts, and work as part of a maintenance team to minimize downtime. The position is unionized, with rotating 10-hour shifts and overtime opportunities under the collective agreement.

Formación

  • Must possess Provincially Qualified Electrician ticket.
  • 1 year experience as industrial electrician mandatory; 3 years experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming.

Responsabilidades

  • Install, alter, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
  • Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including disassembling and reassembling electrical equipment/machinery.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.

Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.
