Job summary

Superior Welding & Contracting Inc. seeks a skilled electrician to install and service electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. You will read blueprints, interpret electrical code specifications and ensure proper wiring, receptacles, switches, conduits and lighting installations.

The role includes testing equipment and documenting work performed. Candidates should have 2–3 years in the field, an appropriate trades certificate or diploma, and a commitment to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Proven ability to install electrical components and read drawings.
• Experience interpreting electrical code specifications.
• 2–3 years in electrical trades required.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, receptacles, boxes, conduits, feeders and lighting.
• Test electrical/electronic equipment for continuity, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain and repair motors, generators and control systems.
• Interpret drawings and schematics to plan installations.
• Renovate electrical systems in residential/commercial settings.
• Complete reports documenting problems and work performed.

• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
