Job summary

Ledcor seeks a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to lead our Industrial division across Western Canada. You will oversee safe, efficient electrical execution, from planning through turnover, guiding field staff, subcontractors, and trades.

Champions safety and quality, ensuring work is on schedule and within budget. You will coordinate manpower, materials, and schedules, manage 50+ electricians, and drive field excellence with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician certification, post-secondary diploma, or engineering degree.
• Experience supervising electrical crews on industrial projects is preferred.
• Strong safety culture and leadership in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety measures meet or exceed requirements.
• Lead electrical construction activities including equipment installation, cable tray installation, pulling, terminations, grounding, lighting, testing, and turnover.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, subcontractors, schedules, and quality standards to support project execution.
• Hire, manage, and support hourly employees in collaboration with Project Managers.
• Supervise, train, coach, and mentor project team members.
• Communicate with staff, trades, subcontractors, and clients to achieve safety, productivity, quality, and performance objectives.
• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, codes, and quality standards.
• Review contracts and subcontracts, identify risks and opportunities, and support financial targets.
• Develop and update 30/60/90-day look-ahead schedules and milestones.
