Job summary

BBA Consultants in Calgary is seeking an Intermediate Industrial Drafter to support energy, industrial and mining projects. You’ll participate in engineering mandates from studies through detailed design.

The role emphasizes drafting P&IDs/PFDs, applying company standards, and collaborating with a skilled team. Strong AutoCAD, CADWorx P&ID or MicroStation and English communication are valued; experience 3-5 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Drafting certificate or diploma from an accredited institution.
• From 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of P&IDs and PFDs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills with high competency in English.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Asset: knowledge of CADWorx P&ID.
• Asset: knowledge of MicroStation.
• Asset: French and Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and plot process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Apply BBA and client standards when drafting various types of drawings.
• Participate in improving dynamic block libraries and other internal tools.
• Contribute to design processes from studies to detailed engineering.
